i'm just wanting to pick up the truck a bit. does my ranger even have torsion bars? what coil spacers would work for it? if i can find something for the front i'll prolly rearch the rear leafs and block them from there

What truck? If it is the one in your profile, no. Otherwise, tell us what you are asking about. Nobody sees the truck info on the main page, which is where most of the users first respond from. Putting the truck info in the question helps others figure out if they have the info to reply.

I have no info on the spacer question.

If its the truck in your sig then no it does not have torsion bars.

Look here about spacers:
http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/factoryspacer.htm

and:

You'll need an alignment after too so calculate that into your "costs".

Also, stay away from those rubber twist in spacers offered by JCWhitney and like they are no good. You want a spacer that will go beneath the coil not "in" it.

A 2" block and new u-bolts would be fairly cheap (possibly from a junkyard) or an add-a-leaf is in the neighbor hood of $50 plus shipping for the rear.
