Maybe if you found a company to make the custom parts.
Trick question 
There are two 3.8l bolt pattern versions
The 3.8l from a Front Wheel drive vehicle will have the Vulcan bolt pattern so Ranger 3.0l trans would bolt up, but not 302(5.0l)
3.8l from a rear wheel drive does have the Windsor bolt pattern(ford small block V8) so would bolt up to a trans from a 302(5.0l)
The holes in the block are metric threads, so be careful, if you use standard thread bolts they will start OK and then cross-thread.
