yea im slowly getting used to the slowness .... the next town over from chico you go from 15 ft elevation to about 1500 ... i could go up the hill in 5th gear in my 96 integra ... in the truck its 4th or 3rd in some places.

A turbo will fix the slowness nicely. At 12 psi, mine takes hills in 5th like it took flats in 1st when it was naturally aspirated.

anyways, few updates. The truck tent showed up today and im going camping 2 weekends from now so ill show pics of that

and i did the first fill up since i bought it and reset the trip odo .... 20mpg ... but thats a lot of town driving.

This truck is going to be driven to Wisconsin come summer because i just found out i got the summer job i applied for out there.

well not to burst your bubble on the shiftnob but uh, you can get those at autozone for like 15 bucks, haha. that one doesnt light up does it? haha. nice truck tho!

no the knob doesnt light up .... its sweet regardless of being sold at autozone

anyways im posting from des moines, IA right now. The truck is holding up great and driving awesome other than bein slow up hills .. getting 21 - 23 mpg with a fully loaded bed ... cept once i hit kearney, NE i been filling up with this "plus 10% ethenol" shit and my mpg has dropped to 19 mpg ... oh well.

i picked up one of those tents last year on ebay. But i got the "sportz II", you have the III. pretty awesome.

i think the truck just needed to get used to it ... after 2 tanks im back up to 22 mpg

anyways, im now posting from a comfort inn about 4 miles from where ill be living for the summer (closest place with wireless internet) and checking my cell phone messages. I dont start my job till tommorow.

so far wisconsin is aight ... havent done anything new to the truck, but the "mod bug" has gotten me ... thinking of dropping it 2/3
