hey guys i just traded for a 95 4cyl 5spd ranger with a fabtech long travel kit that they apparently dont make any more and 2 fox 2.0's on each side i was just looking for some opinions on this kit and the steering still has the flat pitman arm the guy i got it from said it needed a 2" drop pitman arm to fix it but it seems like it needs more than that ive been searching the interwebz for the last few days since ive gotten the truck just wanted some insite from the pro's :icon_cheers:and its on 31's with the stock 3.45 gears i believe is what they are and man is it slow its pretty beat on but its fun to drive let me know what you think also can anyone tell me what front bumper it has he said it was a local shop in so cal

thanks for any input just trying to figure out what i got :headbang:

neat truck.

i suggest a swingset for it...all custom.

Looks good.
id look for a 4.10 geared axle so you can move those 31"s a bit better.

alright you gotta take it easy on me im not down with the lingo yet what in the world is a swingset :icon_confused:

and yeah i went looking at the jy today for an exploder 8.8 with discs and 4.10's but there werent any at my local yard im gonna go look at the next closest one when i get a chance there was a 7.5 with 4.10's but i figure might as well do a complete upgrade also might go to chevy 63's and shackle flip :icon_hornsup:when i can find the time

Yeah for sure do more than a 2" drop pitman arm, IMO go 4". Your ideas for the rear are pretty sound. Are you looking into throwing a bed cage in the back? Looks like a fun truck bro!

most front bumpers are built to order. i think the only shop that makes them fully bolt on is dixon brothers, but theirs are for newer trucks. hard to tell who made it just by looking at it,

and please use punctuation, it makes your posts a lot easier to read

A drop pitman isn't really needed. That kit doesn't utilize drop brackets. A 2" drop pian would help, but it's really not worth the money. Those beams are the best product fabtech has produced hands down.. Foot my build thread to see swing set steering..
