I have been wondering this for a while now. What would be involved in making a 3.0 carb'd? I know I would need an intake mani and a few other things but would it even be feasible?

i know to each his own but why would you want something less fuel efficent. i mean the only reasons why i can think of is more performance

I have a 89 taurus 3.0 that I was contemplating building a car for and do not want it to be more complicated to run fuel system and electrics for. I know it would not be the most efficient or powerful but I like to be a little different.

The 3.0 was never carbed from the factory, it's always been an EFI engine.
