derail complete... just kidding. But honestly thanks for telling me how it was done, as a gen 1 owner it would be easier to do then having to swap the whole clip onto a gen 2. i guess i just didn't clarify what i was trying to get at in my question. either way i think it looks great.

now back to the regularly scheduled program.

So here are some final front end pics. I think I will look for some '61 F100 side spears to add to the front fender, but the front is finished. Anyone looking to add a gen1 front to a Gen2 will have to deal with what I had to do here. The front of the frame rails do not have the bumper locations like the Gen1 does, so I had to add this to the frame rails.

Well having an '88 you are one step ahead of me from the get-go since I had to swap the early fenders and hood onto my '89. I also did the early Bronco grille in my '84 BII, so you have that option as well. I chose a '61 grille because it was a painted grille, it was flat and I could cut and weld it easily.
