I have a 1994 Ranger XLT 5 speed with a 3.0L in it and i was just wondering if i could put a 4.0L and keep the same tranny and ecu and everything or what would i have to replace. For anyone that can help thanks!

A quick search on the forums would tell you that the 3.0L and 4.0L do not have the same bellhousing pattern. It would also tell you that the 3.0L and 4.0L use different PCMs. You may also find things like, the 4.0L radiator is a lot larger than the 3.0L so it might be a good idea to swap those guys out. This topic has been covered a lot so start searching the engine swap forums.
