My dad was a medium heavy duty hydraulic diesel master technician through caterpillar in Florida Florida crushed stone so I was raised doing mechanic work 15 years old started off in a shop working on 18 wheelers and a little bit of ground moving equipment about 5 years experience there before moving on to a GM dealership to get into the automotive field ended up with 21 GM certificates and over the total time I had 5 ASE certificates pretty much disabled now but looking to do an upgrade on a 93 ranger to a V8 never really done much swapping like that always you know repair work fixed back as OEM still looking for any help as far as the motor stands bellhousings pretty much everything I have to swap to do a V8 engine swap in a 93 ranger that had the 2.3 l 4 cylinder

welcome! i think there is a some info on swapping in the v8 section or maybe the tech area. i haven't looked because i don't have plans for that
