2.3L ('83-'97) Just a ground?

I've had to relocate the coil packs to the firewall. Moved their primary connectors as well, but I think there were 2 of these cables connected to the factory coil platform. Are these just grounds, that can be connected anywhere? Thanks

Its a Radio Noise suppressor, doesn't need to be used at all, but yes can be grounded anywhere
The red wire its connected to is the 12volt wire for the coil packs
Every time a coil is unGround it creates a voltage spike on that 12v wire, this can cause static on AM radio stations, quite a lot in some vehicles

The Suppressor is a "capacitor/condenser", it dissipates the voltage spikes to ground without causing a short

@RonD do you happen to know about these? Looks like 2 vacuum connections on it, do you happen to know which lines?

That's the vacuum solenoid for the EGR valve, should be a I believe red and green hard vacuum line going to that guy
