:dunno:I am not actually doing any mods just yet, but some of the rangers did come with tachs, correct? Well my 2.3 mustang of all years had a little white knob in the dash that allowed to adjsut teh tach for 4,6 and 8 cyl motors, from the factory. (I guess in case of 5.0 swaps?) Does any of the ranger clusters have that little deal?

I was reading another tach post about the tachs calibrations instructions and this just made me wonder.....

ive never heard or seen such a button. i cant believe ford would have the forethought to do such a thing.

i dont believe they have ever offered such an option in the rangers.

You sure that's factory??

I demand a pic of said tachometer. :D

:worthless:

Sounds like the universal tachs they sell at auto parts where one size fits all. You just flip the switch for what type engine it is hooked to. Nothing wrong with them, just not a stock item.

ive never seen any such switch. i have a tach and there is nothing like that anywhere.
