Just a Click sound, sometimes

so my 98 3.0 wont start...

bought a new battery, batt clamps,coil pack, plug wires, and starter/solenoid...

still same thing, I might get a click, other time i turn the key and dont even get a radio or any lights.... Its my 2nd new battery and it dont make a difference if i put the battery charger on it(wondering if maybe thats shot). But am CLUELESS at this point.tried switching relays, nothing...need truck for work and school and alcohol.PPLLZZ HEELPP!!

Sounds like wiring to me. Have you checked continuity in the wires? I'd start with grounds, then move onto positives.

this happened to my 79 alot. i added another ground going from the negative terminal to the body and she started every time since
