it may be sad but, where would you get cheap parts if there wasent any in the salvage yard?

wow, a junkyard with a gravel lot? around here we have high grass, muddy ruts, wasps and snakes to "surprize" you. i too have seen alot i would like to rescue and get back on the road. but i can barley afford to keep my own going, so i'll just have to keep doing that.

The gravel surprised me too, at the nearest Pick n Pull it's all sand, which is annoying as hell.

the pick n pull close to me has all their car on cement and just the lanes are grave its done real nice way easy to pull parts when ur not dealing with mud and grass

We've got a place here called "Wrench N Go". They've got gravel, and everything's up on stands.

our salvage yards are full of snakes, grass, mud, sand and a pond, occasionally with a car or truck

mine is all mud... but the cars are all up on rims welded together...

with how much snow we get here, 9 months of the year you need knee deep boots

I was at the yard awhile back and found the 86 Ranger I bought in 94 and drove to 98

As you can see we got mud under ours on bad days.

ive never found one of my own vehicles in a junkyard, but i did come across a car mom had years after we traded it. a '77 4 door comet (the mercury version of the maverick) i did see my '88 ranger in town a few years after trading it, funny thing is, it still had the extra set of rims i left in the bed.
