Was sniffin' around the junk yard and found a 1992 4x4 4.0 Ranger. Had only been there a day.

Managed to score a spare fuel pressure reg, MAF, and an IAC for $60 total. Hopefully I'll never need them, but nice having some spares.

I love having spares...I used to go hunting just for spares sometimes and it paid off more often than not...it was like a sixth sense that I knew something was going to fail...too bad about my lottery tickets...they just failed...":)

I once snagged a small compressor and a air pressure guage with a relief switch in it from a truck at a junkyard

Wife found a set of "Go-Go" boots in bright blue color (she loves 'boots') Reality is that they actually had a heading in the computer for "Boots" people buy out of the junkers.

I usually swing by ours every so often for VW parts. Our new beetle (okay, not so 'new', at 2001) Has some rather expensive parts, and most plastic. Have to be quick, due to the 'flippers' swarming around any newer cars that enter the lot. Ever hear the expression "Shower of Bastards"? That's what you'll find around any fresh cars/trucks they bring in. It's like a swarm of people on cell phones with pry bars.
