Worked on the truck again today. Sand blasted the springs, got them prepped for paint. Got the gauge and switch mounted for the OBA, and got everything set up for where i am going to mount the compressor. The tank will be mounted in the bed, just because i wont have any room inside the cab for it.

Worked on the bed a bit. Got it to where the tailgate opens and closes fine now. beat out the bed a little bit so there wasn't as much stress on the fender flares. Still looks like shit, but at least its better than it was.

got the motor completely broke down to the block. Again. New heads are going on in the morning.

Still need to clean the block up with a wire wheel. Might through some paint on there, it looks pretty nasty.

Springs are painted, and waiting for the shocks to get back.

Still have a shit ton of work to get done, and only being able to work on it on the weekends is GHEY. This class is KICKING MY ASS. Almost over though, and spring break is coming up, so im keeping my fingers crossed that i will have everything i want done. We'll see.

sounds good.....understand the limited time to work on it.....but when ya get the classes done it will have been well worth it

Yea, i know. Just sucks while its happening. This class is the hardest one in the curriculum, so hopefully its all down hill from here!

Truck Talk:

Motor is back together. Need to plug up the spark plug wires.

Springs all sand blasted, and cleaned, and repainted.

lol, yea, i seen it and had to get it. Its gone now though, as the truck dosen't have a bumper anymore. I might go get another one, not sure yet though.

Ok. back to truck talk....

It Runs!! The truck runs better now than it has since i have owned it.

Air tank and compressor are mounted. New shackles installed.

New wheels and tires arrived. just gotta install them once the shocks come in.

Still waiting on the new PS pump. Should be here Tomorrow or Monday.

funny story- i had a guy ask me if it was possible to revise the look of his ranger when i was at work today. he wanted to know if he could use a newer grille or something.. i pulled up your build thread, he about fainted when he saw the first page of it after seeing the recent pics of it. His name is Jimmy, hopefully he will join us on TRS soon.. but he said "good work, that's his favorite ranger ever, and keep it up".. i told him i'd pass it along to you since he's not on TRS yet for some unknown reason..
