well, when i blew the radiator, i overheated the engine.
After replacing the radiator, the truck kept getting warm when i was running down the freeways, so i changed out the thermostat. Didn't fix it. Flushed it. Didn't fix it. So I knew what that ment.... Had a block test done. Failed. So this weekend, me and my buddy tore the motor down to the heads, praying i didn't warp the heads. Luckily, I didn't. They were not warped. Yesterday, while i was putting it all back together, i snap one of the lower intake manifold bolts off. Now i have to pull the driver side head again, extract the broken bolt, then put it all back together again. I think i am going to order a new set of lower intake manifold bolts, just because i wasn't cranking on it or anything, i was using a torque wrench at 36 ft/lbs!
Hoping to have this all taken care of this weekend, then going to build some sliders sunday.
