Progress has been made (a little anyways), just has not been posted yet. I haven't been home last week to do any work, and half of this week has been shot with errands....The next two days will be full on progress days!!

Yes, the new tires are going on the black rims. The centerlines are going to the recycling yard. Hopefully they will be worth something.

Josh, I'd find a used tire shop around you and take the rims to them, you might only get $50 for them, but its more than scrap price...

I just scraped 2 rims and got $36 for them. Just take the valve stems out and they are considered clean aluminum.

Update!!

Went to go get the tires last night, not a great idea considering one of the cracked rims is on the truck still....

About 30 miles down the road, this happens....

I was running around 70 on the freeway and the tire blew out. no warning, just all the sudden i had no control and tire chunks were flying everywhere. Almost came face to ass with a Semi, but managed to get it off the road.

Called AAA, and they came to my rescue...

And my ol lady made me pose for Facebook

Ended up going back and getting her dad's Edge and took it up there to get the tires. Yes, I fit 4 37's in the back of a Ford Edge. Comfortably. I am debating on picking one of these up for a DD....

A trip that should've taken around 3 hrs, took 7. ugh.... At least i got tires now...

And a buddy of mine did it on his hot rod too. THANK the lord you and him both didn't get hurt.

Just go to a used tire place and grab 2. Shouldn't be more than 100 bucks

Yea but i just dropped like $1500 into the samurai... I cant even buy gas now lol. So im just running the snows for a while.

Sucks but oh well... Im hopin to get back to work within a week or two then im gonna get some mtr's for it
