well in my area there are now over 1000 new jobs for the up coming census, at like 13 or more an hour for the field work(going door to door i think). you might check the internet or paper to see if any are needed for the census in your area

the last few decades of "bigger is better" culture in respect to government virtually ensures that government is almost always hiring and never laying off.

Often they pay less than an equivalent position in the private sector, but they make up for it in benefits, consistent work hours, and job security.

Any restaurant will hire you for dish or salads or whatever. They always need cheap labor. It wnt pay much but something is better than nothing. Just remember that nothing is beneath you and you will have ajob shortly. Prayer helps alot.
