Had a blast. Of course I have no pics of my own, these are just a few some friends took. I'm sure more will show up in the next week, supposedly there is video.

My truck before and after.

No bog is complete without the token car body on truck frame.

Me and JohnnyU getting adam's four link coils back under the rear of his truck after they popped out.

44's are a pain in the ass.

Awesome time, never had a mud bog run so smooth. Nothing broke and we were all well prepared, even had tiki torches and outdoor carpeting for the camp site. We are getting this down to a science.

Thats looks awesome! never gone mud boggin but it looks pretty fun..how long does it take to wash the trucks after something like that??

it takes a LONG ass time if you really wanna get it clean and shiney and all that but if you just wanna clean it up it dont take to long

Man that looks like an awesome time. Mud bogs are the best. Cleaning isn't usually that bad. If its strictly an off roader then its a good idea to clean out vital parts like U-joints, brakes etc. It's getting the body clean that takes forever.

Nice pictures and badass trucks.

I didn't think you came around here anymore. Looks like fun. 4.0 treating you well? Great pics. Glad it went well.

I'll spray her down a couple times, maybe put a sprinkler under it. but for the most part I just leave it in the yard with the doors and hood open and let rain take car of her.

Yea, I have never left. I am just an inactive poster. I've been reading trs since it's been on the inet. I just don't ever feel the need to add my 2 cents. I hate saying it but I've read about everything there is to read and often its just a bunch of newbies asking the same old q's like how big of tires can I fit with a body lift. Its about a 10:1 post ratio on people who just own a ranger and people who build one for off-road purpose. Nothing wrong with just owning one, trs is an awesome source of information, but just owning one is kinda boring. My t-case doesn't have a shifter linkage, it will never need to leave 4-low.

The 4.0 is awesome. I have only had it out with the 4.0 three times but I couldn't imagine honestly needing more power. The only gears I use are 2nd and reverse.

I have recently been planning on swapping in a d44, motivated by cheap thrills build. But in all honesty I might just stick with the ttb. It has not broke since I've done all the tweaking to it. I do all the local trails with no problems and with the price of fuel, attica is as far as I probably ever want to go. The rubicon is kinda out of the question. Originally I was all about trails only, screw mud. But mud bogs are what we have around here, and if you goto the right ones its like attending a giant 4-wheel drive party. So unless a d44's higher ground clearance will make it exponentially better at mud, or my BII is helpless on the trails at badlands, I think i'll keep running the d35. Any experience out there with ttb vs. sas in mud? From the 33's 2.9 and A4lD to the he 36's 4.0 and m5od, it seemed to do the trick in making the bII go from a turd to impressive. If it aint broke don't fix it.

an hour from p-town. I live in sparland which is like 20 miles north of peoria so its about an hour and ten minutes for me.

Hey now, I didn't take all of those pictures..... So I can't be blamed for the timing!

It was more fun than I had anticipated despite not having a truck. Actually, not having a truck there this year sucked. It's getting there.....

I think you hit the nail on the head right there.

I didn't bring my camera but there's another guy on a local forum that got some pics, I'll have to post em up here later. gotta go to work now. thanks again for the axles burnside, they should work beautifully :)

We do have these things down to a science. Over the years we have figured out that it is the little things that really makes the day/weekend go smoothly. Sure you can show up to one of these things without having a two-page checklist and every amenity of home, but when guys show up without having straps or anything, it really pisses me off.

As we talked about, I'm quite surprised that whenever pictures of well-built rigs are posted there are seldom many comments, but when pictures of a stock truck or someone with cranked torsion bars and 33's posts a hundred pictures from some odd angle there are ten pages of comments. I just don't get it....
