Jessi Combs passed away

RIP.
I read in a different article that she was 39. I thought she was pretty cool in mythbusters. Didn't know about the other stuff she did.

She was good on the Extreme 4x4 too. I followed her on facebook and she was pretty interesting. The "car" she died in was a converted F-104 Starfighter fighter jet.

Sad to hear but....

I dont think i knew anything of her.

She was on a couple car shows including one about building trucks, was big into just about anything with an engine. Was a fabricator on Mythbusters for awhile.
I thought courtney hansen did those shows?

I dont know i aint watched since stacy david left trucks.

This was in the late 00's. I added a wikipedia link on you on my last post.

Courtney Hansen hosted Power Block, which was four or five shows. Combs was a regular on Extreme 4x4.

Sad to see. But, at least she went out doing what she loved. That's more than most of us will accomplish.

Jessi Combs was also a host on All Girls Garage for a while. Sad to hear this had happened.

I remember her from extreme 4x4. Never knew she filled in on mythbusters.

Yeah, she filled in for Kari Byron for a while after Kari had her baby.

I kind of want to see what shape the car ended up in.

I bet it was in a bunch of shapes. Jet fighters usually don’t crash well in loss of control type situations.

A real bummer. She was a local from this area and quite a few of my wheeling buddies knew her personally - I never met her but she was definitely a rock star in her world. RIP.
