Jeep dana 30

ya im gonna try to get him to go lower. but i need to know all the work that needs to be done. havent had much expierience swapping axles, especially SAS.

Also i have 373 in the rear, the front is 307 i believe in the dana 30, would i have to get a set of 373 for the front? or better to get 307 for the rear?

there are loads of d30 with 3:73's in them. get one with the right gears in and save yourself a bunch of trouble and money. If you can find one with all the steering crap still attached you will save yourself even more trouble.

If you're asking if the front and rear gears need to match then there is no way you can do a SAS in a weekend.

hey man im just up the the highway from you in sherwood. ive already done the swap. youre gonna want a cherokee axle from a 95-99. bigger u joints and non-disconnect. let me know if you need any other information. and dont pay anymore than 25 if youre hell bent for that 87 axle. that thing isnt worth more unless it has all new seals and ball joints in it.

oh your from sherwood..im from the canby aurora area if you know where thats at. but yeah ill try to find one from that year.. what will a newer one cost in that year?

did you find yours off ebay? or someone near by? if you know anyone let me know. ill drive as far as vancouver to get it. thanks. i need 373 gears
