Does anyone have any idea what this is? It appears to me like it's a full ignition and coil in one single unit... I have one in my garage and I don't know where I got it... It looks brand new though! Has a coil wire, a pos and neg cable that look to go to the battery and then 2-3 more wires with a plug at the end that I have no idea what they are.... I don't think I can use it on a 2.9 based on the little research and info I've done, so I gave it to a friend who has an AMC 360 in his Jeep. Just curious if anyone could tell me how to wire it. Thanks!

i have used them on v8's. on the older stuff they allowed the plugs to live longer when boggin down with a 4 bbl. they really make a huge difference on a well worn old v8 4bbl...

been a long long time.

i would be tempted to just run a dui for a carb application though if i had a 360. hard to beat one wire hook up to keep things simple.

throwing away the stock liquid coil and running a coil off of a 2.9 will give it a cheap boost too...not as hot as the jacobs due to its timing capacity...

have em try both with the ol 360 and see if its perceptible the regular tfi coil vs the jacobs vs the stock jeep stuff....

the jacobs is simple to hook up....a power/ground and sensor wire to the stock coil...and of course the coil from it to the dizzy.

Thanks for the response! I think I'm going to snag it back from him and install it on a 351W for the swap I'm embarking on. Wish I could find a diagram on one of these things to tell which wires are what....
