izuzu rodeo 3.2 barks like a puppy! lol

replaced fuel pump cause it went out, now it runs fine but the it sounds like i have a puppy locked in my gas tank just barking away sometimes it just whines but it mostly barks ......fuel level doesnt seem to change the noise at all. i know it was a PITA getting the o ring between the pump and tank. maybe its leaking from there and making this noise happen?????

I'm suprised you can hear the fuel tank over the knocking of the motor! I've had 2 Rodeos and a trooper and the motors all knock like crazy (along with every other Isuzu I've seen) That said, I still love 'em!

Sorry I can't help with the "barking" That's a new one to me!

I had the 84 pup(1.9) that ran on gas, started up every time & was quiet-

well shes "only " got 240,000 miles so far. just gettin broke in. burns oil but no knocks or leaks......hell it still gets decent gas mileage. lol
