Really? I went hiking among WAY too many sheep in New Zealand. Aside from dodging "land mines," they were completely irrelevant; they ignored me completely.

Sheep on pasture fulltime couldn't care less, that is why I said you have to feed them grain, if they did that in New Zealand you would have been beating them off with sticks the whole time.

I figured it was something like that. I know nicotine itself, in high concentrations, is fairly toxic. Kinda like hydrogen peroxide: the diluted stuff in the stores stings a little, and apparently bleaches hair (while reducing IQ!), but I've heard horror stories of what the highly concentrated stuff can do.

For some perspective, H2O2 powered the X-15. It says so right on the tailfin (I saw it a few weeks ago). The X-15 was the fastest and highest aircraft ever, capable of over 4500 MPH (Mach 6.7!) and altitude 260,000 feet. Ignoring the space shuttle orbiter (and for altitude, Space Ship One), of course. Imagine LA --> NYC in 40 minutes....

I like the ivy bomb idea. I would put in some well aged chicken livers along with the ivy. That wway they would be sure to rub it in well trying to get it off and use a plastic vaccum pac bags with a metal deflector attached to spread the mixture at the target.

I've been looking for the video of the engine explosion on the X-15. It was a static test on the ground with a pilot onboard. Can't seem to find it.

Something no one has mentioned is motion sensor activated cameras. I have seen the ones available for hunters. Shouldn't be any big thing to hook a few up to cover the area in question. Might catch the action as the bouncing betties blow their contents of poison ivy concentrate and meat dye all over the little bastards!

Something just for fun:
I say you get a paintball gun and rig it to an IR camera and some motion detection software. Then just unlease a short 3 round burst at the intruder. That should be a deterant enough for them.
