Its time to play... Pick a Head Unit!

The sony seems like a good deal. I haven't bought Sony audio stuff since my x-plod 1000w amp that crapped out fast though so I am not sure about quality.

This is in my Nissan. I like it pretty good and it's cheap enough. I have never had an issue with Kenwood products (yet). I like the USB so I can use a flash HD and carry almost my entire music library in the glove box.

Does Alpine still require professional installation for warranty?

I highly recommend HD Radio in any new stereo, but you won't find it in an under-$75 stereo. JVC has a couple in the $100-120 range. HD Radio is great because you get extra channels on many stations that are commercial-free, and HD Radio service itself is free. I put my older JVC KD-HDR1 in my 1994 Ranger to replace a Pioneer unit that it had when I bought it.

HD radio is cool. My 2010 International ProStar has it. I still prefer sirius though since I can drive 4 hours with the same station.
