Just started to get hot here in CT. Today I believe was about 85 degrees. It got hot really fast here, one day it was cool enough to wear long pants, the next it's over 80 degrees. At work, (Napa store) everyone was coming in and buying cans of refrigerant and stuff to get their A/C systems fixed. And, only 2 days of this heat, and I already got a farmer's tan. WTF. I gotta myself to the beach...

Consider yourself lucky! Its been like that for a few weeks here in KC. Been pouring conrete in it too, its miserable.

ya it was over 90 for a few days here..back down in the upper 70s today, I can't stand hot weather.

Farmers tan, I hear ya. I've had one for at least a couple weeks now. Whats a beach?

Im A Snow, Cold Guy,
I HATE warm weather, I HATE IT
I'd way rather be out on skidoo, hittin drifts and 70 mph, breaking you right elbow, and upper arm (long story), having to get pins put in your elbow about 3 inches and a few weeks later haveing them pulled out with a pair of vise grips, and having your brother faint when the blood spuirts out, goood times, (again, long story)

It has been in the 90's a couple times already this past week, which compliments our 8" of rain in the last week and a half quite nicely. Talking more rain for the rest of this week, you would think there would eventually be a cold front coming thru with all these storms...:dntknw:

85 degrees? More like 95!

Yes I work in construction, and I am sooo glad I live in alaska cause it usually only gets to be around 65-70 tops, with the occasional super hot day, plus it is always nice and breezy. Yay!:D

Yeah, I think the humidity makes it feel a lot hotter than it actually is. I think the weather channel said it was 70 degrees the other day, and it felt like 110. I just try to stay immersed in air conditioning as much as possible.

Oh yeah, and I like my current job SOOO much better than my last job: Landscaping at this rich, yet extremely cheap, old bag's house. Sitting in the dirt with no shade pulling weeds out of the ground in 100 degree heat = SUCKED. After that, I promised myself I would never have an outdoor job again. Fresh air is overrated, I would rather breathe in asbestos all day than have another outdoor job. OK, well, maybe not.

I was hoping nobody would ask this.. but ok...

So i was on skidoo, i was 10 years old, riding around, bashing through drifts out on the country..
And then i went out on the bay, hitting drifts, and a kinds of stuff.
It was horrible weather, snowplows were even took off the roads, about 5 feet of snow on the road.. So i was giving it to the skidoo whatever the bitch could suffer..
And i decided to open it out goin across the cove, (in a white out).
Could not see a thing.. Anyways, Once i got up to about 70-75mph, i hit a drift that i could not see (because of the white-out), and i hit it sort of on the side, or at a weird angle..
Anyways, i Launch it up in the air, not knowing i hit it untill i was in the air, and i knew the landing wasnt goin to be pretty, due to the take-off being un-expected..
Well, the skidoo started goin sideways in the air, and then i hit the ice, landed on my elbow, drove my shoulder up into my head, split my helmet in peices, the skidoo landed on the side, rolled and landed back on the track and kept on going,
So i was blacked out there lid down on the ice (myself), and when i came to, i looked up and seen my skidoo about 150 feet away from me, so i get up, start to run, then i stumble a few times like i was wasted, and get back up and "run" to my skidoo, when i got there, i tried to drive home, sonce i was a nice ways away from home...
So i get on the skidoo, and realized i could not move my arm, it had no feeling whatsoever, so i lift my arm onto the handle bars, and manage my way back (note that i was at my grandpas for the weekend), so i manage back home, run in the house and ball out to nan that i had my arm broke, we call mom, she comes up, we got to the nearest hospital around 100 kilometres away.. the nurse was a total $#!+head, she was the biggest ass hole ever, i felt like punchin her in the face, she was tryin to move my arm around, when clearly my elbow was screwed up, she kept on tryin and i kept on cursin...
well anyways i go in for x-rays, and this blonde smokin hotttttttt chick is so nice, she was really gentle with my arm unlike the other bi-a-tch, ((and that night, (my dad was a trucker then), dad came just happened to be goin by the hospital in truck, so he stopped in, and then he left after so long, cause he had a full load on,)) mom was watching my getting my x-rays done, and i could see her screaching like a baby, and i couldnt help but laugh at her, it was no pain at all, it was just so funny!,
well anywasy, doc looks at the x-rays, sure enough my elbow is dislocated backwards about an inch, and my upper arm is broke, so he puts me to sleep and operates, i wake up in a, maybe 100x100 ft room that was empty, i was just lyin there on the bed, and then i realized it was a dream of waking up, and when i actually did wake up, i was on a bed with the hot nurse next to me, so she brought me out then and i had a cast on, and dad was home then, so he came in and got me and mom, we went home, and let me tell you guys now, that hospital rocked, they had xbox, all finds of food, icecream, plasma TV's everything!..

Well around 4 weeks pass, i go to the doctor to get my cast removed, i get in there, he cuts off the cast with some siccors, and then i see the pins stocking out of my elbow, all i had to say was,, "wow, sweeet", and he took them out, unscrewed them with visegrip-like-thingys, and the blood squirts out, it looked soo funny, and my brother fainted! lol.. and yea thats about it

your welcome

:taunt: i was expecting you and your brother at home messing around with them and one of you haveing the bright idea to just rip them out. and that sounds fun so i gettin on the 4 wheeler and tryin it my way :3gears: lol jk
