and then we got to the back cargo area and tore into the side panel to get one out. and we were like o shit thats a sub, wait thats an amp. wait theres 2 amps. this things got premium sound!
so we pulled out the whole assembly and took it home. we started school monday, and i get out at 11:43 now that im a senior but have to be back at 2 for football, long story short i got it all hooked up and its awesome!, i have it powerin my rear speakers for now and im going to try and make some boxes for the vegas we pulled out, and ofcourse the sub was blown so thats no good. but really the only reason i am doing this is because one, im bored with school, and 2 to prove to me that i can do it.

heres the door speaker amp.

the black one went next to it.

the only problem with it all is, its kinda staticy is this a grounding issue? i made sure when i grounded it it was all clean and junk.

NO, whats retarded it you spelled RETARDED WRONG. ITS RETARD NOT RETART. i take offence to anyone spelling my cultures name wrong lol

damn im retarted too i didnt even notice he spelled it retarted

add a filter to the power wire, maybe that helps. and search for lose wires.

which power wire? the actual power or, power from the head unit for the speakers? and what is a filter, where would i acquire one?

the power wire for the amp, the one tha power s it. some setups tend to make some annoying clicks and humms on the speakers when the engine is on or the horn is being activated, when the amp is not properly grounded, ussually cuz big amps have a direct connection to the battery. so this filter is made to take out that noise.

ohh okay yeah, this isnt a big amp by any means, maybe 80-100wats i think i cant find the specs. but i do have it wired directly to the battery, with a inline fuse ill try and find one if its not too much, thanks.

cool, i just noticed also that if i have the volume all the way down at 0 i can still hear the music playing?

haha i have no idea, the whole thing is ghetto rigged, im just doin this cuz i get bored when i get out off school at 11:45 and nothing to do. and im tryn to learn. but im going to make sure its grounded right, i have it grounded to the seat bolt, and i think theres some paint on it so im going to clean it right, i dont think its engine noise but it could be, and i might get a filter for the signal to the amp.
