Well, never thought I'd do it... But I traded in the ranger. Its been a while since I've been on he

re because of my work, but this was always my favorite forum. Loved my truck and never planned on getting rid of it, but it was getting rusty.... The one thing that I couldn't fix! Had it for about 9 years and almost 100,000 miles. Great truck... If anyone runs across it (headed to auction I'm sure) be good to it! Was like selling a piece of my soul! When my wallet gets a little fatter, will be getting another that's gonna be offroad only, but until then nice knowing everyone!

I've never sold my Ranger(s) other than scrap metal and even that was hard to do...so I know parting is such sweet sorrow...and if you win a lottery or marry a rich one...things will be better and you can drop in with a new rig...

For sure! And like I said, new truck will be in the future plans! Down the road, I see a purchase of a car trailer (now that I have something that can tow) and a dedicated trail vehicle... So I can skimp out on doing things that keep it a road worthy daily driver... Which limited me in the ranger driving it everyday. I ended up getting an '08 f150 crew cab, so now that I can fit regular sized humans in the daily driver, a can get a short box reg cab as a second vehicle.... Just wish I could have kept both!
