It's been awhile

It's been awhile since I've been on here with any consistency. Bought a house, had a kid, had to fix/update house, had another kid, bought a bigger truck...........the normal distractions. Still have the house, still married, still 2 kids but my Ranger has been dormant for about 3 years now. I've upgraded my wheels to Coys C-5's with 17x8 fronts and 18x9.5 in their flat black. That's been all the Ranger has received in at least 5 years.

I'm planing on slowly getting back into this truck again. I have many turbo parts sitting in boxes still and it's time to get mocking things up so I can move forward with it.

This was a great group of people when I was a regular years ago and I'm hoping to see the same this time again. So let's have a or and build some boost!

I remember you from a long time ago...had to go back and see your previous posts and it appears you've been away a while...good to see you're getting back into a Ranger...maybe not a DaveR head since those are disappearing faster than you can say Lima Rama LLama Ding Dong Dali Lama Ping Pong...

Not that many people actually say that...

I remember you as well Mark. Good to see your name again.

I've been running that DaveR head for years now. He did a ton of work on that head including fitting turbo valves to it. There wasn't a noticeable difference low in the RPMs but up high it sure seems to breath better.

I gotta refresh my memory on what swaps to what, what's needed to keep the computer happy and my biggest hurdle is already over. I plan on getting a Classic Plate for the truck once it's operational so I won't have to worry about emissions any more.
