Hey guys! Man its good to be back. Ive had a few RBV's since i forgot my username in 2012.

Started with my 87 Bii, got it stock, and learned all about it the hard way. Sold it in 2011.
3" body lift, 6" suspension lift on cherokee springs and explorer leafs. 8.8/D35 swap, mazda 5 speed swap with fresh 2.9, i made the snorkel out of 3" exhaust pipe, and the stinger was 2" .250 wall DOM. And countless other mods. Ive missed it since it left on a trailer, but my first child being born trumped the Bii toy.

Then i saved an 88 extended cab short bed ranger, a build on here known as Blackwiddow. Street truck of the month at least once. It hadnt run in a year and needed tons of TLC. But for 900$ i didnt care. I finally got my first v8 and 1000 watt RBV. It had a carbd 302, TCI C4 trans and a 7.5 with 4.10's. It would do great burnouts, but it had no top end. 70mph was pushing it. Swapped in an 8.8 with 3.73 and a lockrite. Put on a holley double pumper, and built a new fuel system and a few other things. Ended up running low 7's in the 1/8th. I reluctantly traded it for an 05 gsxr 750 because the 50 miles to work one way was killing my wallet. But damn it was fun!

Then i picked up a 1991 explorer sport for 400$, 55k original miles, pristine interior, 4.0, mazda 5 speed and factory manual 1354 t case. It got 17 mpg and ran like a top. This one i gave to my dad to use out in california for a commuter to save the miles on his Porsche that he was driving daily. Ill get it back someday. Probably my sons first car.

Now, we are here... ive wanted another crawler for awhile. I had a few bad ass comanches and cherokees over the years, and they were fun, but they werent my bronco. Ive been nagging my buddy for years to let me buy his bronco. Right before christmas he called and told me that he really wants a dirtbike. And the bronco has sat long enough (6 years)... Man i got excited! I picked up my new bronco ii on christmas day.

84 Bronco ii, 2.8, auto trans. 51k original miles. Not a scratch on it. 3" body lift i sold him in 2010, explorer leafs and springs, Duff front bumper, custom embroidered seats, Tuff Box center console. Not a scratch on the headliner... i drained the tank and flushed the fuel system, changed the oil and have been driving it since chrisstmas. Weve been taking it to the river every weekend and my wife loves it. But she says the motor and tires HAVE GOT TO GO. Haha, and im not one to argue with my wife, especially when shes right. Last weekend i did some minor trimming on the front fender, pulled the 33's off my wagoneer, and got rid of the 28" street tires. I have an 05 Super 60 with 4.10's that im tearing down at the moment. Going to drill the rotors for the old ford pattern. And find a 14 bolt to match. Looking for a 5.0 explorer donor at the moment. The axles will be in by spring hopefully, and the motor will be before summer. Thats the goal. I have a set of 40's but will probably be looking for something a little smaller. I dont want to cut the body more than i absolutely have to.
