So this is my project I'm rebuilding. I've been at it all winter, since I decided to keep this thing. Its a 91 4.0 5spd on a 89 bronco II frame that I SAS'd and 8.8 swapped years ago. I sent my flat bed off to get powder coated yesterday. I'm rebuilding the steering and rear suspension. Adding rock sliders and a front bumper. After that i'm going to drive the wheels of it. I'm not going to put any more money or time into the D30. I have a 3 linked D44 for it and another 8.8.

That should be a fun rig.

Thanks!

I hope so, I went through a hard spot and almost sold it. I've put a lot of money and have a lot of parts for it. I plan on driving the wheels off it. I rushed a lot of things together when I was planning on making it a complete off-road rig. Now that I'm done with the bed, everything else should go pretty smooth and faster I hope. I bought a 89 cab that i'm going to fix up, and maybe it will be next years project. I'm going to repair it and fix the issues it has, swap the wiring and some other things over and swap it to this frame. Also have another 8.8 and a D44 for it that I'm going to start building also. I don't want to put any more money into the D30 than I have to.....

Welcome back and a cool rig. I need to get back to making progress on mine, was making progress last year but then things happened

Thanks! Yeah, when I decided to keep it. I wasn't going to have another worthless rig around. The wife didn't/doesn't like me spending money on it but hey what's the point might as well make it street legal again an enjoy it!
