It's been a cazy few weeks...

2000 ford ranger. my manuel tranny wont shift after driving it a short time. i thought perhaps it was my cluctch but after i did a little researcg i am leaning toward a master cylender. i would like to nail it down but now when i have the pedal engaged i am starting to hear a slight squel in what i believe to be a throw out bearing . this clucth does not slip at all .

while the throw out bearing was on its way out of the nissan we had to double clutch it to get it to shift gears. i guess do that till you can get it fixed.

first check the fluid level!.........if you are hearing a weird noise when the clutch is engaged that indicates a bad throwout bearing or pilot bearing.......Does the noise change at all if you move the shifter?
