anyone have any issues with the warn premium hubs? i have a set on my ebd44 and my pass side one is a MOFO to turn. driver turns like butter. i took it off and in the hand its hard. i tried to lube it a little and didnt seem to help. i have another hub and it does the same thing. :icon_confused:

They're pretty stiff. I fully disassembled the dials on mine and lubed the O-rings that are behind there with bearing grease and it made them quite a bit easier to turn, though even still they aren't near as easy to turn as, say, the D35 hubs are.

i know what you mean. i did the same thing with mine. but it doesnt even compare to the other one as far as ease of turning. i did notice if you loosen the lock ring its significantly easier to turn but wont work very well due to not having that ring tight.

I noticed mine were tight too. So I put trans fluid on the back sides of both of the new chrome covers. I rotated the knobs and let the fluid work its way in, they turn almost as easy as my TTB jeep hubs did.

I haven't installed my 44's yet, but my 60's are fairly new. I havent noticed any difficulty turning them...
