Issue not running

Okay i have a 88 ford ranger so I just put in a whole new fuel system in and all new relays and it still don't want to run anyone have this issue

Yes I get Spark and no it wasn't running when I got the truck but it starts up with starter fluid but when I hit the gas pedal it cuts off

I put in distributor cap ..rotor spark plug ..spark plug wires ..fuel pump that's in the tank ...fuel pumps on the frame ..fuel filter and regulator and all three relays and still won't start

Are the pumps running? Do you have pressure at the rail?
