I have two 10" rockford fosgates, with an 800 watt sony explod amp, and a pioneer cd player (DEH-9).:icon_confused:

what kinda rockfords? and thats like a 150-200w sony amp. you got a ways to go but if it sounds good to you then it doesnt matter

putting brands aside, just look at rms ratings for your amp and sub, in the correct ohms. you wanna try and have them close, or you can bake stuff and thats no fun.

Those subs are decent....you most definitely need a new amp for those to get their full potential.....if you could take some pics of the system and and post some specs of the box...that would help alot.

I would build another box for those subs too....if you have those in sealed boxes you would be amazed of how much louder they will be in a ported box tuned and built for those subs.

not all sonys are garbage. i think its the older xs line that were pretty well built. and if you already have the gear, just use it.
