I was looking to rebuild an 8.8 I bought off of here over from race dezert classifieds, and put in a different diff with a 4.10 gear from a sport trac rear I am using for its brake parts, instead of pressing on the 4.10 from the donor sport trac rear end. While doing some research about the trac-loc diff, I came across this t-2 torsen diff out a ranger fx4 level 2 31 spline preloaded at 30ib-ft on sale on torsen.com. linked here (Torsen® Traction)
I never seen this site nor can I find the exact same part in other places, just the torsen diff mostly found in mustangs. I was wondering if I should pull the trigger on this somewhat sketchy site, or would I be better suited getting a locker later and just sticking to the trac loc and buying a rebuild kit in the meantime.
