i had p235 60 r15 tires on my 1997 ranger (automatic trans with a 2.3) now i put on p235 75 r15 tires on it, my speedometer is off, is there a way i can adjust the speedometer myself, or do i have to take it to a shop? thanks.

Unfortunately, you have to buy a calibrator, but it gets pricey. If it were 94-older you could swap the speedo gear. This is the calibrator from Superlift.

Though, i was just thinkin, You might be able to have your local stealership reprogram it since you switched to a factory offered size.

They will be able to change it at the dealership with there scan-tool. I don't have any idea how much it would cost. You can also calculate it in the tech section to see how fast you are really going compared to what the speedo says.

Do what i do, just get a cheap gps:D Most of them accurately display your speed, mine was cheaper than anything else i could've done to get it accurate (mind you i did win it:headbang:)
