want to flush my fuel injectors, and can't figure out if there is a fuel return line. I see the pressure regulator, but only the one fuel supply line. Truck is an 01 2.3L...Any help would be appreciated

I think by 2001 return lines were gone

it would appear so from what I can see, but I'd like to know how the pressure relief valve works then, lol...I can see a vacuum pot on the rail- how the heck does that work? where does it relieve the pressure to?

so for future reference, there is indeed no return line- 2 cans of thru rail cleaner in my vevor fuel injection cleaning machine at 60 psi worked great. The Schrader valve is in a horrible location, so it's best to just disconnect the fuel line and hook up from there. Expect some valve clatter which will scare the hell out of you...

@cozz valve clatter from injector cleaning???
can you 'splain that a bit?

I know the 2.3 Duratec has mechanical cams but valve noise from injector cleaning is new to me.

It's gotta be pinging cause of the cleaner. Right?
