Is the ranger and explorer 4.0 y pipe the same?

I'm at the junkyard and I need a y pipe for my 98 4.0 ranger ohv. Is the explorers the same? I can only find 4.0s in explorers.

Well got a 97 4.0 expo y pipe and it doesn't bolt to the cat on my 99 ranger 4.0. For anyone's future reference. Could be though because the cat is for a 3.0. Muffler shop time

Also the flanges at the exhaust manifold to y pipe connection are different. Just get a ranger 4.0s y pipe. Make sure it has the right number of o2 sensor holes
