Is the 2002 ford ranger fx4 off road a stronger and tougher truck than the 2002 chevy s-10 z-r2

What are your opinions on those 2 trucks in all there aspects.

I like the s10 my grandfather owned one from the late 80s

A lot of times it comes down to traction and the angle of the road. A truck pulling uphill will have to fight gravity and the power of the other truck vs. a truck pulling downhill, which will have the advantage of a downhill pull.

You also have reaction times. When it's time to pull, who is faster to take off? This can be the difference between winning or losing.

Then there's the transmission. If one is an auto and the other is a manual, the manual may have a disadvantage to the auto if the clutch is worn.
