I bought a vaccum guage not to long ago and to install it I am getting a guage pod. I found two, one is built for a ford ranger 20 dollars + 10 shipping or there is the universal one for 18 dollars no shipping. whats you oppion on the matter would you save the 10 dollars and try to make the universal one fit and fiberglass it or would you spend the extra 10 to get the nice fit?

Is fiberglassing worth $10 of your time? If I were to lay some fiberglass I would hope I'd be saving more than $10. But maybe you are good at fiberglass and enjoy doing it...

I'd buy the one made to fit!

get the ford one its goin to look much better its worth $10

I agree with the others. get the one that is made for your truck so you don't have to engineer or cut or fab or just plain dick around with making the cheaper one fit and look good.

thanks. i was leaning that way. i just wanted a second oppion. thats the way I am going to go with it by buying the one made for the ranger.

Another quick question. Its a dual guage pod and I only got one what would you suggest for a second one. I already got the vaccum guage.

Oil pressure gauge

I saw a cool one that showed engine load. I'd get that.
