Is my clutch gone?

Hi I have a 1997 b2300 and the truck started to knock really hard when releasing the clutch and accelerating, when I stay at a constant speed it stops but starts again when I accelerate... Even when revving the truck without engaging gears it's knocking really hard

Also, I had trouble engaging gears and that's why I think that my clutch is the problem but still i'm not sure because of the knocking sound...

Is there any way to be sure that the problem really comes from the clutch before removing the transmission?

What's the best place to get a good replacement clutch on the net?

I am fairly certain that your clutch is still in place. Probably not the source of your noise or engagement issues though.

At this point it should be noted that while you may consider the slave cylinder part of the "clutch" it isn't and should not be considered such for the purposes of interpreting my response.
