is it reverse or regular?

hey, im planning on ordering a set of 4.56's for my axles in the near future and well, i got my front axle in but not my tranny/ x-case, and it just occured to me that i dont know if it is a standard cut gear or a reverse rotation.

dumb i know, but never really thought about it before.

i have a dana 44 out of a 79 f-250.

can anybody tell me what cut the gears have??

High pinion=reverse. Low pinion=standard.
