Is there anyway i can install more then one shock on my ranger?
I dont have money for a long travel kit so i was woundering if i could just install gas shocks? If so, can i install more then just one on her? If not is there a custom way i could??

Also the back of the truck how can i get better suspetion from the back? Maby more leaf springs or differnt shocks? Maby is there a way to install a shock on each side of the axel rather then just one side???

The type of shocks i mean are these puppys:

yea no reason why you cant jus start fabbin stuff an readin other peoples threads

you can add as many shocks as you want it wont make it ride any better its all about the valving.. the reason for 2 or more shocks per wheel is so they wont heat up and fade as easy as if you were only running 1 thats what they did back in the day, now that there are bigger diameter shocks you can get away with running a single one

camburg makes a dual shock mount for the edge trucks, they use the same suspension as your 4x4, just without the front axles. look at how they set up the mounts, then figure out a way to do it on yours so that the shocks will clear the axles.

in the rear, installing more shocks won't make the truck ride better, it will just be wasted money. i'm pretty sure you have a huge overload spring, which you could easily remove and install an add a leaf pack in its place.
