Just wondering if a separate issue such as a warped brake drum that causes enough drag to be felt while driving might disrupt the smooth operation of divetrain components to the point of causing hard shifting between gears?
The reason I ask is that during my recent troubles with a warped brake drum I noticed that I was having trouble shifting, and now that my brake issues are resolved, shifting is as smooth as it ever was. Coincidence? I don't think so, but can anyone confirm or deny?
