Yeah, vibrations can be notoriously difficult to track down. The really wild thing is that sometimes they can mask other problems. I hit on one awhile back with my Choptop where I replaced a vibration causing suspension part that I knew was bad, and suddenly I had a much different and much more violent vibration. Absolutely infuriating that I fix a part that I know is bad and causing me problems only to find it was covering up something else entirely.
And don’t get me started on crap parts quality. Have you ever watched any of those videos showing how brake rotors and drums are made online? Gah.
Anything from a poorly balanced tire or out-of-round tire to the hard mounts for everything on the frame has the potential to cause a vibration. I don’t mean to discourage you with that. But it’s a lot of territory to check. Keep at it.
