Is brake line flaring difficult?

Ok. Good to know.
I was also wondering why the guy in the YouTube instructional video uses anti-seize lubricant for this purpose.
Unfortunately there's a lot of not-so-wise to downright liars putting "instructional" videos and information out there these days. I usually try to watch a couple videos if I need to learn something to try and get a feel for who's being honest and who is perhaps not so sharp if I don't find someone that I trust their input. ChrisFix is usually a reliable one and very detailed. A1auto and some other ones do a decent job too, unfortunately not all subjects are covered by the reliable sources so sometimes you have to apply some common sense and/or ask questions to a reliable source like here.

Anti-seize would make a mess and it's not a lubricant for making flares. It could be used on the outside of the tube and on the threads of the tube nut to keep that all from seizing together, but you wouldn't want to use it for making the flare because it has powdered metal in it. Pressing powdered metal into a flare sounds like a recipe for problems to me.

I know what you mean. The anti-seize idea was questionable to me from the get go

Yes. That's a good point you made about getting a cross-section of answers and then deciding which is the most credible.

And let me tell you......on more than one occasion......you guys stepped up and said something like......let's take a step back. Maybe there is a better way to do this.

What do you guys think about this flaring tool? I can get a deep employee discount on this. It has good feedback on O'Reilly Auto Parts

Titan double flaring tool. Part number 51535

I'm a bit skeptical of Titan tools. Some of them are stellar/some are total crap. That one might be OK, I've never used that style, but it looks way easier to use than the bar style.

This is what I have and I am very happy with it:

Cheaper version of the Titan one:

Well, I'm leaning towards buying my own flaring tool.
I can get a refund on the Titan one if it doesn't work out.

But how does the Titan one work?

So that Vevor one does a professional job in your opinion?

Yeah I like the Vevor one (the first one I linked to.) It's overkill if you're just doing a few and you have to use it in a bench vise. The second one or the Titan one would work under a vehicle.
