What stuff are you talking about? Apps you bought in the app store? If you UPDATE you'll be fine. If you restore you'll lose it.

apple keeps a record of all of your "purchases" which includes free apps... this is so that if the price goes from free to $0.99 in the future, you have already purchased it (for free) and don't have to spend the $0.99 to get it again

i was talking about my jailbroke stuff, bought a few apps on cydia

sakurik keeps a record of your purchases also (only actual purchases)

soo...i was just just sitting here uploading a video to facebook, sat my phone down and picked it up 5 minutes later.

its shut off comepletely wont turn on and when plugging it up to computer or charger nothing happens.

anybody have any idea's?

Hold down the home button and lock button at the same time for about 30 seconds. It should restart.

that did it, i tried it a few times but didnt do it that long.

thanks. i guess i should restore it and update it then go back to jailbroken.

start in DFU mode, then try above steps again, i've had this work in the past...

Well glad it's official that Sprint is getting the Iphone 4 and Iphone 4S. Ordering my 32 gig Iphone 4S on Friday.

There are already jailbreaks out for iOS 5 GM. I don't think jailbreaking will stop.

I will upgrade to iOS 5 when the jailbreak comes out for it.

No need to upgrade to a 4S as it would be a waste of money since the 4 and 4S are not much different. I will be waiting till next year with the 5 before I upgrade.
