Actually, things similar to that have happened to OnStar users. Thats one reason I'll never drive something that has it.

Also, any cellphone can be tracked, even if it's off. Cellphones are essentially just two way radios. Very simple process.

I'd also like to go ahead and say that the "don't do anything wrong and it won't matter" theory holds no water to me. Personal privacy is important, imo. And I wouldn't want to live somewhere were I must prove I'm doing the right things on a daily basis. It's one a particular rights violation that really pisses me off.

You can track any one by just knowing your technology. I have access to my moms sprint account, and can track her every move if i wanted to.

I will never own a Samsung phone again..scratch that, anything Samsung. They are never on time with updates and they just lie to you about everything. The Samsung Epic for sprint just got froyo not too long ago..and i've been running froyo on my htc evo forever now.
