iowans?

motor is fine, no fluids where they don't belong, and figured out my fan problem, after removing from radiator, discovered that it collects mud very well... dug out about 5lbs. of mud and hit the switch everything is good to go.:icon_thumby:

thats good to hear, i wish some of my problems would be that easy!!!

I live Burlington, but got to school in Dubuque. I am interested in doing a little off roading up there when I get back if you guys would send me a pm maybe we could meet up on a weekend. People down here have destroyed most of the roads down here with ruts so bad my friend with 37s would have to stradle some of them.

Sioux City here, just bought a ranger than needs some serious work, look forward to chatting with you all!

Des Moines here.....just got the Ranger on New Year's Day. It's probably not going to get much in the way of mods real soon, but that's always open to debate. Do a bit of back-road running in my CJ-7.....LOVE those B-maintenance roads between here and Marshalltown!

if anyone is looking to go wheeling in eastern iowa shoot me a pm, im sure we can find some place to go

Anyone in the local area gonna make it to GoodGuys, at the State Fair Grounds? It's the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of July. Not the typical RBV gathering, but cool enough in it's own right.

i think ill be in des moines for the state fair race on Aug. 15th IIRC, the ranger wont be there, but our IMCA Late Model will and its pretty cool

Hey yall Im back lol What Cheer, Iowa and a proud MIOBI member eastern guys that want to find anything out about the best offroad park in Iowa are more than welcome to follow me and the wife providing you like to drink and have a good time that is(well no drinking while wheeling but you get the idea) lol.

Wow kinda dead here.

LOL, not many people check the regional forums often. Im about 2 hours from What Cheer. I'm hoping to get the truck out some this summer, taking a weekend camping trip to wheel. Got anywhere a new guy can go??? What is the deal with MIOBI??? i have heard some guys talk about it but don't know anything else

Miobi is a offroad park on hwy 5 just north of Lovilia or about 15 miles south of knoxville. Its a members only park with 2 big open to public weekends during memorial day and labor day weekend. Its like 400 acres of abandoned mine with trails from mild to wild. My wife, father in law, and I are members and enjoy the hell out of it great camping and wheeling. Shes got a stock jeep on 31s, the inlaws have a k5 on 35s again stock for now and my Xterra is mostly stock with some armor and 33s and a spooled rearend. Membership fees are $50 for the first year and $35 everyyear after that to renew and you can go anytime with 3 rigs(safety purposes).I had some photos up on here back when I was wheeling my old SAS ranger. There website is www.miobi.org

We get alot of newbies that are scared to come bc alot of guys have tube buggis but theres alot you can do with a mostly stock vehicle you just have to be wlling to try.
