My credo
A properly suspensioned Ranger can be safely airborne for up to 4 seconds at a time! =:O
Hoses are 9 years old... can't be good for reliability... swap-out time!

As far as tracking down all hoses and routing, I guess I'll have to go by eyeball and the diagram under the hood, but... how many different diameters will I need, and which ones? English or metric?

Thanks in advance, the fix is IN... ;')

BUMPety-bump!... anyone? Do they last forever?

Obviously there's the big one, 3/8" or larger, from the manifold to the power brake booster, but what about all the TINY ones running around?

What about the ones for the "pulse-lock" front hubs?

Are they those metric or "AN" sizes?

Oh yeah, WHERE IS THE MAIN VACUUM TANK?

Thanks in advance...

If I needed new vac hoses I'd cut off a inch of a certain hose and write down how many feet/inches of that size I needed..then go on to other sizes and do the same thing.. Then I'd take the short lengths and my paper to a parts house and get what I knew I needed..

Kinda takes my Ranger out of commission, and leaves me at the mercy of lame parts houses that don't even carry good/proper hose clamps.

Think I'll go the other direction, and just buy a foot of every size a few houses have.

Kinda twisted that Gates or FoMoCo doesn't just have a vehicle-tailored kit. If I *wanted* a clusterfook of odd and obscure parts, I'd get a really old British sports car, lol.
